a gallon, pay for college education, whatever it is. the talk on small business obscures, what are regoing to do in this economy to increase demand? demand is going to drive the profitability of small business. >> we have a survey about small business owners which was interesting. it was conducted by wells fargo. they say why are you not hiring, right? their number one hiring concern is the revenues won't justify adding employees. there aren't enough people, customers to sell things to because the economy is not very good. current state of economy, cash flow ability, go down to the bottom of that for new government regulations. >> after the debate, i spent a lot of time talking to small business organizations to say what was your reaction to this? they had interesting statistics and ideas. then i spent a bunch of time talking to small business owners saying what did you think of the debate? you know what they said? i don't really care. what i care about is how i'm going to get more people through my door, increase my customers. what's my marketing plan. >> i want to talk about grou

last week by the taliban because she was promoting education for girls. word now, 10,000, 15,000 people out in the streets protesting these shootings. and also, word that the girl is actually being evacuated. yousufzai was reportedly flown out of the country in a specially equipped ambulance out of the united arab emirates six days after being attacked by gunmen while riding home in a school van last tuesday. she was specifically targeted by criticizing the taliban. over the weekend tens of thousands of people rallied in pakistan's largest city in support of the young girl. and you just wonder, andrea, whether this is one of those moments as you see people out in the streets in pakistan protesting the extremists and the thugs in the taliban. you just wonder if this is like the jordanian wedding. and i think it was 2006 where you had zakari blow up a jordanian wedding. in fact, al qaeda in iraq lost the hearts and minds of people in the middle east. you just wonder if you've got the uae getting involved, you've got protests in pakistan, it seems like muslims across the world comin

school admissions because getting a racially diverse campus provides a better education. that was the court's holding. after the argument today it seems clear the court is not going to go and overrule that precedent but the problem many of the justices had is how do you know when you have enough diversity. the university of texas has an unusual system. it automatically admits anybody who graduates in the top 10% academically of any high school in texas. that gets a fair amount of diversity on campus because many of those schools tend to be racially more uniform, predominantly black or hispanic and tend to get diversity. the problem for perhaps the majority of the justices how do you know when there's enough diversity. what the school says is, we don't want merely diversity in numbers. we want african-american students who are interested in fencing and speaking greek and studying architecture and hispanic students who are great fencers or ballet dancers. we want diversity in other words within the mere racial numbers. and i think for a majority of the court the question is how do you k
